Responsibilities

  • As part of our team you will be working with other Programme/Project Managers who will support each other as colleagues; working so that skills and abilities are interchangeable, who support, mentor and challenge in order to grow, share knowledge and best practise and strive for success in this complex arena.
  • Working alongside the Director, Head of Service and other senior managers within the Council, the Project Co-ordinator will assist in the delivery of our strategically influential capital regeneration programme which could include health, housing, heritage, and transport infrastructure to investing multi-millions in the City over the next five years.
  • We are seeking candidates with business acumen, a desire to work in a programme/ project management environment with the ability to assist us working in partnership with our regeneration partners, both public and private sector, to drive forward a variety of exciting programmes and place-making opportunities.
  • Working on programme of capital projects through their various stages from inception into delivery and post completion. This will be achieved through the development of sound business cases and the procurement and assistance in the management of technical professionals and contractors to translate the Council’s ambitious vision into an exciting reality.
