Responsibilities

  • - Develop strategic, multi-channel coordinated market development plans for Biotech and Pharma customers, crafting or applying competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, and staging and pacing of tactical programs to drive revenue growth.
  • - Develop sales enablement tools and customer facing materials in collaboration with global marketing, marketing operations and commercial teams.
  • - Closely collaborate with EMEA Regional Market Development (RMD) managers to help drive portfolio strategy within the Biotech and Pharma segments.
  • - Partner with our BID Biotech and Pharma commercial team to build tactical plans that enable the team to deliver on the pre-defined strategy and growth commitments.
  • - Be the BID EMEA driver in broader regional and global marketing teams to influence the activities and optimally deploy in BID EMEA.
  • - Drive messaging and tools that communicate the value proposition directly to Biotech and Pharma customers through marketing campaigns, distributors, and events.
  • - Define Biotech and Pharma contact engagement strategy to increase impact of marketing campaigns including but not limited to 3rd party networks, Linked In, Research Gate etc.
  • - Work closely with the OEM commercial leader to develop the OEM value proposition and provide marketing support to drive awareness of our capabilities.
  • - Review targets and dashboards to measure efficiencies of your marketing activities; report on these metrics regularly and adjust tactics to improve performance.
  • - Propose and complete customer and market research programs to provide key market insights and actionable business outcomes.
  • - Provide relevant training and communicate market trends direct to sales teams on a regular basis.
  • - Deliver digital marketing campaigns that support commercial revenue goals.
  • - Ensure the return on investment of marketing activities is in line with EMEA targets.
  • - Support additional projects and activities as deemed necessary to support the life sciences business.
  • - Work closely with the following key collaborators: Regional and global market development teams and digital teams to optimise the digital media plan; Cross-divisional Life Sciences marketing teams and the broad Thermo Fisher network to ensure customer focused approach to maximise customer experience; Corporate brands to align on value propositions; Data science groups to improve the use of predicted analytics and data science in marketing plays; CRM teams for segmentation.
