Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in either RAN 2G, 3G,4G or 5G, with a focus on acceptance, mobile network testing, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of network testing tools (e.g., TEMS, TEMS Discovery, Ericsson OSS) and optimization techniques for RAN technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including presenting technical concepts to CXO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Mobile technology Radio Access Network (Either 2G or 3G or 4G or 5G) and multi-vendor network design and optimization initiatives, with expertise in both TDD and FDD networks.
  • Provide strategic direction for network architecture, ensuring robust coverage and capacity planning during and after deployment.
  • Oversee HLD and LLD processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and customer requirements.
  • Drive the rollout and integration of mobility strategies, leveraging advanced knowledge of features and parameters specific to vendors like Ericsson.
  • Monitor and optimize network KPIs (e.g., throughput, latency, call drop rates) to deliver exceptional Quality of Experience (QoE) and QoS.
  • Introduce innovative technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges during deployment and operations.
  • Deliver high-level presentations to customers, including CXO, addressing their needs and building trust.
  • Act as the primary regional point of contact for Network Design and Optimization (NDO) activities, managing escalations and providing technical insights.
  • Lead NDO projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to build technical expertise and soft skills, fostering a high-performing team.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and develop technical documentation and proposals for internal and customer use.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and upgrades to optimize resources such as drive test tools, planning software, and performance analysis systems.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, industry standards, and regional requirements.
