Responsibilities

  • Assisting the solicitors in the team with due diligence on residential development sites (e.g. title checks, property searches etc)
  • Assisting the solicitors in the team in preparing draft documents
  • Assisting the team in preparing reports
  • Assisting the team at exchange and completion
  • Residential conveyancing/auction sales– preparing contract packs, dealing with enquiries etc
  • Post completion – preparing Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions, submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns
  • Making and receiving telephone calls to deal with routine client enquiries and communications
  • Attending progress meetings with clients
  • Managing documentation
  • Taking responsibility for carrying out conveyancing searches
  • Dealing with post completion activities
