Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in risk management, IT audit, information security or related fields – financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with optimization and analytics tools.
  • Strong documentation and process-oriented background with leading and managing projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills for identifying risks, summarizing issues, and explaining trends.
  • Ability to drive progress through effective communication of complex topics to diverse audiences, orally and in writing.
  • Skilled or eager to learn SQL, Python and/or Perl for advanced data analysis.
  • Proactive self-starter, ability to learn quickly and to take the initiative with a desire to challenge the status quo, curiosity ask challenging questions and drive operational excellence.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, work & maintain composure under pressure, ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, and apply methodical approach to resolve issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, and present metrics & reports to provide insights and support decision-making for senior & executive management.
  • Proactively identify risks, coordinate remediation efforts, and enhance control environments.
  • Lead and coordinate remediation for risk & control issues and support issue closure to validate control design and effectiveness.
  • Work with stakeholders, ensure compliance with standards, policies, and documentation.
  • Support assessments against regulatory and policy framework guidance.
  • Support internal audit activities and guide auditors & control owners to effective controls.
