Requirements

  • - You should have a qualification (HNC/HND) in business administration/other relevant subject and relevant experience in a similar administrative role or significant experience in a similar role if you do not have qualifications.
  • - You should have experience working within NHS or similar organisation and have a wide knowledge of the workings of the National Health Service.

Responsibilities

  • - Provide a day to day administrative role in the production and maintenance of the Monthly Medical staff on-call Rotas for Emergency Care and Medical Specialties.
  • - Liaise with all members of the clinical team and the Clinical Service Manager.
  • - Act as the focal point of contact for Medical staff in relation to on-call Rota service enquiries.
  • - Provide help and advice to staff members, patients and professionals in relation to service enquiries and rota management.
  • - Be responsible for the accurate and timely inputting into the NHS Rota Watch system.

The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, with a shift pattern reflecting a reduction to a 37-hour work week starting from April 1, 2024.
