What qualifications are required for the Safeguarding Advisor position?
Applicants must have a Diploma or Degree RN Children, RN Adult with Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification, RN Learning Disability/RN mental health with pediatric experience, or be a registered Social Worker. Additionally, post-registration education in children protection/safeguarding children at graduate level is required or candidates must be prepared to work towards this.
What experience is necessary for this role?
Applicants should have experience in safeguarding within services for children and young people, as well as experience providing specialist advice, supervision, training, and support on safeguarding issues.
