Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reviewing Requests For Proposal information to ensure adequate information has been received to prepare project costing and liaise with operational and sales teams as appropriate.
  • Provide support to the Sales team during teleconferences with clients to ensure a clear understanding and accurate estimation of the technical aspects of projects. Seek assistance from senior members of the proposals team and follow up when necessary.
  • Build cost estimates in the current costing tool.
  • Draft and complete bid proposals using current templates with moderate review from the supervisor.
  • Receive mentorship from senior members of the Drug Product Commercial Proposal team related to the pricing that should be applied to opportunities.
  • Own the Executive Inbound and Outbound Opportunity Review teleconference segments for assigned opportunities.
  • Acquire necessary internal approvals before sending the final proposal to the Sales team.
  • Manage the editing and updating of the quote records in SalesForce.com.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements within the proposals process.
