What is the primary responsibility of the Sales Representative I- Upper Extremities position?
The primary responsibility is to attain sales goals and objectives through the creation and execution of a sales plan in the assigned area while driving sales growth through communication and in-person interactions with current and prospective customers regarding Zimmer Biomet products.
What qualifications are preferred for this position?
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in orthopedic sales, specifically in upper extremities and/or sports medicine, or a minimum of 6 years’ proven sales experience in the medical device industry, specifically upper extremities and/or sports medicine is preferred. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.

What are the travel expectations for this role?
The travel expectations include up to 95% predominantly by car, with up to 20% overnight travel that may be required depending on the territory.
What does the compensation for this position look like?
The base compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $160,000 per year based on experience, with additional compensation available through bonus opportunities.
Will the Sales Representative be required to participate in after-hour or weekend cases?
Yes, the Sales Representative will be required to provide after-hour, evening, and weekend case coverage as well as add-on case coverage for the team and/or territory.
What kind of events will the Sales Representative be responsible for planning and executing?
The Sales Representative will plan, coordinate, and execute local educational and sales events, supported by internal resources, to enhance the business and help meet assigned sales goals.
Is there a requirement for physical capabilities in this role?
Yes, candidates must be willing and capable of carrying weights up to 50 pounds independently.
