  • Communicate daily with the Billing and Project teams on internal and external tax inquiries.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the organization’s indirect use tax software, including the interaction of the indirect use tax software with other enterprise business solutions.
  • Assist with testing and implementation of software and automation updates.
  • Collaborate with Systems/IT groups to support and improve in-house tax reporting and processes.
  • Review and validate tax exemption certificates.
  • Accurately reconcile indirect general ledger tax accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and file accurate indirect tax returns.
  • Research and respond to indirect tax notices and audits from various taxing authorities.
  • Conduct all other duties, as assigned.
