Requirements

  • MS/BS degree in CS/EE/CE or technical equivalent.
  • 7+ years' of related work experience.
  • Software Development experience using C, C++, and/or Python.
  • Experience developing routing protocol stack in vendor NOS or in open-source networking stacks like FRR, Quagga.
  • A deep understanding of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, etc.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Segment Routing, L2VPN and EVPN technologies, BIER and Controller based Solutions.
  • Understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), and related technologies such as OpenFlow, network overlays, and virtualized network functions.
  • Packet forwarding operating systems internals, algorithms, and computer architecture.
  • Experience with MPLS based VPNs (MVPN, L3VPN, L2VPN).
  • GIT, Jira, Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Virtualization and container technologies including KVM/Qemu, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex network issues, including packet capture analysis, log analysis, and protocol debugging.
