Responsibilities

  • As a Design Engineer you will be responsible of all Fire Suppression design elements in supporting the business on the large/ complex projects.
  • You will be part of the JCI Fire Suppression Design Team based in one of our offices, with the opportunity of hybrid remote working based on experience as agreed with your Design Manager.
  • On occasion it will be necessary to travel to sites around the UK to perform site surveys, complete progress reviews, mark up drawings and attend client design meetings as required.
  • Understanding of the customers / contacts within business.
  • Ensuring design schedule is met for approval, fabrication & construction
  • Liaising with sales & contract manager with onsite specifications, installation & bracketing Completing Design Risk Assessments
  • Daily liaison with the client / customer both internal and external.
  • Working closely with your new business colleagues to ensure a smooth handover of the projects from sales through design and completion with all design deliverables required.
