Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Creative Design Manager to produce and manage all creative design ideation, design requests, and pitch directions for the global account.
  • Translate Disney franchises, characters, and storytelling into products, ensuring brand integrity is upheld at retail.
  • Build and nurture relationships with design, operations, character art, franchise, product development/licensing, and content partner teams to ensure synergy and share best practices.
  • Clearly present visions, ideas, and pitches in both formal and informal settings as needed.
  • Provide design direction for initiatives by researching creative solutions and demonstrating a high-level awareness of consumer and market trends.
  • Create and illustrate design icons and graphics for product development purposes.
  • Support team Designers as needed, ensuring all work meets required standards and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of trend boards and new ideas (ideation) that bring innovation and freshness to future projects, building on existing strategies.
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines, ensuring character and design consistency and integrity in all work produced.
  • Foster effective relationships within the wider creative community, leveraging their expertise to create relevant designs that push boundaries.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and experiences as needed to gain insights into the EMEA marketplace, seeking out new ideas and creative solutions to better understand the business.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions with internal and external teams.
  • Work closely with the Lead Designer to plan projects effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
  • Ensure that all agreed projects are successfully executed within budget and on time.
