Requirements

  • What we’re looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team of designers working on complex digital products, in large, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience both leading designers and being hands-on with design work
  • Deliver high quality products and experiences at scale.
  • Experience in interaction design and methodologies for desktop, mobile, and other devices.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making
  • Experience working on Enterprise SAAS products or complex systems (e.g. Software Tools, Video editing, Immersive computing, OS/Firmware, etc.)
  • Work with Figma (our primary tool).
  • Value AI and has a passion in this space
  • Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, hiring, and mentoring a global team of world-class designers of all experience levels.
  • Understanding the needs of the business and setting expectations with cross-functional partners around design and creative resourcing for deadline-driven commitments.
  • Partnering with other design leaders and Zoom's executive team to create design strategy and implement priorities at a global scale.
  • Partnering with research, content, design systems, and customer-facing teams to facilitate creative problem solving and deepening opportunities for innovation.
  • Defining and refining best practices for rituals like design critiques and sprints for a distributed and boundary-pushing team.
  • Enabling smooth peer learning and information sharing across projects/design roles.
