Responsibilities

  • Selling content solutions including Checkpoint, Westlaw, Practical Law, Clear, CoCounsel for Tax/Audit, and Global Trade Management into the Global 7 Accounting Firms
  • Finding new sales opportunities through a deep understanding of both each client’s business and the propositions that Thomson Reuters offers
  • Working with the Global Key Account Director for each account to contribute towards the account strategy
  • Prospect to potential clients, presenting a business case for our products that fits with each client’s needs
  • Respond to Prospect RFIs and RFPs
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations; team with solutions consultants and the global account team to present a combination of deep product knowledge and broad knowledge of the client relationship
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the business
  • Cultivate relationships with key business owners, technology teams and end users at each firm to develop leads
  • Negotiate sales contracts
  • Delivery of target sales objectives for the sub-segment; growth through cross-sell/up-sell
  • Proactive communication with the broader team; transparency in all contacts with each client in order to benefit the entire account team
  • Accurate forecasting of revenue, and unit targets; consistent updates of all CRM systems / reporting on market and competitor activities
  • Presentations across internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
