Responsibilities

  • Supporting import/export processes on behalf of Amazon in Europe
  • Drive scalable business solutions to ensure compliance with cross border regulations in the region
  • Provide subject matter guidance for country and regional projects focused on Trade Compliance development
  • Work across the team members, businesses stakeholders and Corporate Legal to enforce corporate policies
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance on our projects and processes
  • Assessing the impact of new import and export regulations and implementing needed changes across Amazon's cross border lanes
  • Aligning with Legal on main compliance risks and developing solutions to address those
  • Engaging with Regulators on import/export related topics
  • Preparing documents for senior leadership review to drive decision process regarding any cross border issues or required investments
  • Attending several calls with the team and stakeholders on ongoing topics
  • Reviewing import/export metrics, which may signal specific actions that need to be taken
  • Respond to emails and inquiries from stakeholders and regulators
  • Organize/support meetings with regulators (monthly or quarterly)
