Responsibilities

  • Create, innovate, and lead recruitment and relationship efforts for specific universities aligned to hiring demand
  • Lead and develop an annual recruiting plan, including budget and goals for specific hiring organizations and universities with coordination of leadership
  • Facilitate the process for gathering and communicating hiring needs for specific hiring organizations while providing consultation to functional and human resources partners based on data and industry insights
  • Represent Boeing effectively when virtual or on campus for formal recruiting events (e.g., information sessions, interviews) and non-recruiting events (e.g., resume workshops, advisory council meetings)
  • Act as integrator and project manager of events as well as various projects / initiatives (both on the University Recruiting team, as well as overall Global Talent Acquisition)
  • Partner with the internal U.S. University Intern and Entry Level Recruiting team, functional partners and leaders, human resource partners, Boeing Global Engagement, and others to understand the business needs and associated demand
  • Present the university relations strategy to key stakeholders, universities, and other parties to ensure understanding of the future entry level talent needs
  • Support sourcing and recruiting of candidates
  • Develop strong relationships with university career services, faculty, student organizations and university outreach and retention program offices, and other groups identified as relevant to recruiting
  • Train members for the university focals and campus recruiting teams
  • Participate in formal university recruitment events and ensure that there are adequate team members assigned for all events
  • Partner with Boeing Global Engagement for annual university portfolio contribution process and align contributions to the university engagement plan
  • Serve as the company point of contact for student university ambassadors and engage with ambassadors
  • Identify and recommend campus specific marketing opportunities to the Boeing Recruitment and Advertising focal/ manager and Global University and Entry Level Recruiting leadership team
  • Develop and execute early identification programs and continue to develop relationships with targeted candidates
  • Streamline existing practices to enable the organization to compete for talent with speed
  • Continue to enhance our brand presence on select campuses, external technical affiliations, and in the industry through ambassadorship, events, and social outreach
