Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of activity, workload and performance
  • Advising the Service Manager/General Manager/Lead Clinicians of areas of concern/underperformance
  • You will line manage Admin & Clerical staff within the service
  • You will plan and operationalise elective surgery, outpatients and diagnostic procedures in line with clinical staff job plans
  • You will participate in the inputting of demand and capacity modelling for the service in conjunction with the Service Manager to support performance sustainability for RTT, DM01 and Cancer wait times
  • You will work collaboratively with clinicians to draft patient experience responses
  • You will support the Clinical Director, Service Manager and Lead Nurse with our quality and safety agenda, to achieve an 'Excellence' status for your service area
