Requirements

  • Position Requirements (Technical Skills):
  • 3+ years of experience in Windows Engineering
  • VCP, MCSE Technical Certifications preferred
  • Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and included components
  • Working knowledge of VMWare products
  • Basic knowledge of other virtualization technologies such as VMware View, Citrix Xen Server, and Xen Desktop
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell, User/Kernel Dump analysis, Network protocol & packet analysis
  • Experience with Cisco UCS servers and infrastructure components
  • Experience with server backup and recovery methodologies
  • Working Knowledge of storage system configurations including NFS and fiber channel
  • Server Patch Management and Antivirus methodologies and best practices
  • Experience in large heterogeneous (1000+ Server) environments preferred
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to author technical documents and create procedure manuals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Ability to conduct research into current and future technologies
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Healthcare knowledge/background including data privacy practices and laws

Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of Service Desk and/or clinical training experience required
  • 3+ years EHR knowledge and/or experience in Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, or other EMR
  • Experience in delivering classroom and/or virtual training across multiple applications in addition to primary area
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, written and verbal
  • In depth understanding of Healthcare Terminology and IT competencies required
  • Strong business partnership capabilities and the ability to influence others
  • Experience developing, delivering, and administering training programs including distance learning
  • Must enjoy working with technology, be able to learn new software quickly, and have strong typing skills
  • Flexibility in schedule to work nights and weekends as needed for training needs
  • 3+ years of clinical healthcare experience (i.e., Super User or Clinician in a hospital or healthcare setting) preferred
