Requirements

  • Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment.
  • A Master's or doctoral degree, or equivalent in Engineering
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, heat balance diagrams, and identifying sizing criteria for various components.
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working.
  • Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program, part of the program will be on-site in Germany and part in Orlando FL.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Responsibilities

  • As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • Develop process engineering design of Power2X, heat pump or power plants including developing engineering flow schematics/piping and instrumentation diagrams and developing mechanical equipment data sheets.
  • Support reference design development & maintenance activities
  • Lead proposal efforts on Sales opportunities from bid approval through turnover of won projects including development of the proposed technical concept, cost calculation and technical proposal that support the Sales strategy and the overall business goals of the organization.
  • Review customer specifications and provide process solutions to meet customer requirements as stated by the end user and/or identify exceptions.
  • Ensure that established business processes are followed and seek opportunities to improve the established processes.
  • Maintain and improve the tools and templates used to develop proposals and to document process design including MS Excel calculation tools and MS Word templates.
