Responsibilities

  • Publish organic, campaign, always on and reactive communications across both Nectar and Sainsbury’s social channels, in line with the brand strategy and customer plan.
  • Own the Nectar social media calendar and write engaging captions for Instagram, TikTok and Meta using Nectar or Sainsbury’s tone of voice.
  • Working with the Social Media Lead to create the Nectar organic social media strategy.
  • Work with our in-house agency Zest to facilitate creating organic social content.
  • Maintain the brand’s social presence across platforms, ensuring profile pages, header images, pinned posts etc are up to date.
  • Ensure the brand acts in line with our social media governance guidelines, maintaining password security and access to accounts.
  • Provide community management on all platforms, as well as for UGC, influencer content and outreach to trending content.
  • Experience using social media reporting and social listening platforms, like Sprout Social, is a plus.
  • Support on aspects of our influencer programme, working with our influencer agency and signing off influencers with support from the campaign team.
  • Attend Nectar and Sainsbury’s campaign and colleague content social media shoots.
  • Tracking, measurement, competitor activity and reporting of social and influencer activity on a weekly and monthly basis.
