Responsibilities

  • Support regional project leads with RFP guidance and standards. Maintain & grow a list of potential vendors across various project needs– event production, tournament operations, technical operations, audio/visual, fabrication, creative and branding. Manage toolkit assets and infrastructure, working with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure proper use, timeliness, cost efficacy, and asset maturity forecasting.
  • Lead the national support of major third-party partnerships – Hyrox, Padel, titled ownable moments and other sponsored event series. Collaborate with cross-departmental national and global project teams to maximize registrations and participation for Wings for Life World Run. Support project lead in a select number of national projects at various scale – from national large-scale to small fire events. Adopt an always-on mindset for innovation and new ideas. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and innovations for future events. Identify regional and local scenes that influence brand image with our target consumers. Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution of event initiatives.
  • Organize team documentation and maintain shared file structure. Prepare spreadsheets and presentations to support internal meetings, event guidelines and trainings. Support planning of team offsite events and trainings for national event teams. Enforce upkeep of event calendar, Sportsnet information and event reporting all sports events across the US, focusing on internal KPI, ROI, sustainability and overall impact with consumers. Work with global counterparts to ensure all mandatory reporting is submitted and accounted for on time and per regulations. Celebrate overall event success with internal teams by commissioning internal mid year and end of year recap content. Implement a system for collecting and sharing best practices across regions to improve event execution. Help develop training materials and onboarding resources to support new team members and ensure consistency in operations. Maintain and update a centralized resource portal to ensure it includes the latest materials and information, facilitating easy access and reference for sports events managers and the field marketing organization.
