Responsibilities

  • The appointee will contribute to services in Acute Paediatrics as well as level 2 Neonates.
  • The role involves participation in the General Paediatric and Neonatal out of hours rota, which currently incorporates 10 participants and will be expanded depending on the number of successful candidates.
  • Our aim is to meet recent legislative requirements and make improvements to work intensity during the out of hours period.
  • The consultant body will provide support for continuing professional development and GMC revalidation requirements, and we are able to support development of a special interest in a range of Paediatric sub-specialities.
