Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be expected to provide active peri-operative medical care to the patients with femoral fracture, under the supervision of the Orthogeriatrics Consultant at University Grange Hospital.
  • Facilitation of post-surgical multidisciplinary rehabilitation and active discharge planning will be the key responsibility of the post holder at step-down service at Royal Gwent Hospital and Nevill Hall Hospital.
  • The post holder will work under the supervision of Orthogeriatric consultants at Royal Gwent Hospital/Nevill Hall Hospital and provide support to consultant ward round at University Grange Hospital on a rotational basis.
