Responsibilities

  • Serves as the day-to-day external relationship manager for key policy groups, advocacy organizations, think tanks, public interest groups and NGOs.
  • Works within a dedicated external affairs team to develop and implement issues-based advocacy campaigns and support business development activities; develops proactive strategies to reach stakeholder groups in furtherance of Government Affairs policy priorities.
  • Represents T-Mobile at outside meetings, conventions, panel discussions and other events.
  • Identifies and cultivates new strategic relationships with key consumer and policy-driven organizations.
  • Develops and maintains a strong network of partnerships with third-party public interest groups, industry associations, NGOs, and academics engaged in policy issues impacting the telecommunications industry.
  • Collaborates across Government Affairs and with other departments to identify needs, provide advice, and offer solutions support, where needed.
  • Monitors and analyzes developments in government policy that impact external relationships.
  • Prepares and updates fact sheets, research, business data points, and other documents to support advocacy activities with key stakeholder groups.
