Responsibilities

  • Develops, socializes, and gains support for the organization's talent strategy, direction, programs, and processes.
  • Advises on best practices and all aspects of talent development, team member effectiveness and improvement of the existing organizational climate.
  • Leads the development and implementation of improved talent development & performance capabilities through change management, organizational design, and development and training to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Provides on-going consulting services to assist management in monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating performance strategies.
  • Works with managers to identify talent development processes that can be enhanced using technology-based solutions. Articulates the value of talent development and performance management technology.
  • Synthesizes strategic goals, prioritization and learning strategy into performance management system.
  • Develops and engages in planning and executing the performance review/coaching plan cycles.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, or meetings to review managers’ current talent infrastructure as well as recommend ways to develop and coach talent, improve performance, develop leaders and to deliver positive business value through better management of the workforce.
  • Counsels and influences leaders on career development of team members, to include working on career path plans, ladders, and competencies.
  • Partners across organization to enhance a healthy team member lifecycle, in terms of orientation, onboarding, engagement, and succession.
  • Partners with HR and operations on preparation for succession, talent profiles and knowledge transfer.
  • Develops, coaches, and mentors leaders in the organization; engages with and develops high potentials, emerging and fast tracked leaders.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
