What is the duration of the position being offered?
The position is a fixed-term role to cover 12 months of maternity leave.

Is there a requirement for a DBS check for this position?
Yes, employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Can I apply if I need a Skilled Worker sponsorship?
Unfortunately, applications from candidates requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are ineligible for this position.
What kind of training and development opportunities are available?
The Trust runs excellent development courses tailored to individual needs, including regular supervision, annual appraisals, and mandatory training.
What responsibilities will I have as a staff nurse?
As a staff nurse, you will lead and coordinate shifts, attend ward reviews, dispense medication, provide support to your team, and care for patients in line with NMC registration requirements.
Is there any specific training required before starting the role?
Yes, you will be required to undertake a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course, and it is a condition of your employment to successfully complete it.
