Responsibilities

  • Due to service expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bone Marrow Transplant Team in Glasgow's QEUH.
  • We are the National Service for Allogenic Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplants in Scotland.
  • We serve patients from all 14 Health boards with a population of almost 5.3 million people.
  • Referrals are made by local Haematologists or Oncologists who believe their patient may benefit from a Bone Marrow Transplant.
  • We also offer different types of transplant: Autologous, CORD, Haplo-Identical along with CAR-T therapies.
  • We have a robust induction and education pathway for all staff who will be fully supported with a precetor.
  • We have a designated Clinical Nurse Educator on the ward to facilitate and support all staff.
