Responsibilities

  • Oversees staffing coordination for all Patient Care Units.
  • Trouble shoots and problem solves special staffing issues as necessary.
  • Inputs, monitors and maintains accurate computerized schedules for staff on a monthly basis.
  • Edits all changes in MyTime
  • Proactively critiques time schedules checking for accuracies and variances.
  • Maintain all daily schedule changes in Clairvia.
  • Maintain census accuracy in Clairvia.
  • Cover for call outs, obtain extra staff when the need arises.
  • Contacts Clinical Administrators, Nursing Directors & Assistant Directors as necessary for adequate staffing.
  • Knows the duties and capabilities of each category of employee.
  • Keeps Nursing Directors & Assistant Directors informed of chronic absenteeism, excessive sick time and habitual late offenders.
  • Answers all phone lines as calls come in using proper etiquette.
  • Communicates with co-workers of pending staff changes or other needed information for the following shift.
  • Communicates with Nursing Directors of schedule posting deadline and assists them to meet it.
  • Sends notice to all Licensed staff for renewal deadline. Follows up on an as needed basis.
  • Assists co-workers with job duties when needed.
