Requirements

Understanding our stakeholders: preferably through having worked with or for governments, supervisors, or industry associations.

Responsibilities

Strengthening coordination between key retail countries, with a focus on conduct and AML supervision. The area of focus is subject to change depending on the regulatory and supervisory calendar and priorities;
Developing and rolling out the supervisory and regulatory engagement/ strategy wrt Retail & Conduct; and
Steering the relationship with EU regulators and local supervisors while building internal networks to share experiences and further develop ING’s strategy.
Focus on maintaining local responsibilities by setting up minimal engagements, monthly coordination meetings and strengthening reporting;
Write and coordinate briefings on key topics and action points to ensure consistency of messaging across ING;
Supervisory communication: pro-actively communicate with supervisors, and ensure internal communication on supervisory topics on relevant incoming and outgoing communication vis-à-vis supervisors; and
Monitoring / track & trace open findings / remediation progress (including improvement of tooling).
