Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management.
  • Strong experience of ERP MPS / MRP.
  • Demonstrable experience of coaching, supporting, leading and managing teams.
  • Experience in working with global supply chains.
  • Proven capability to deliver sustainable improvements in OTIF, optimizing inventory levels and material flow.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Evidence of strong communication skills, including data mining, analytics and report writing.
  • Degree qualified (or qualified by experience) ideally with relevance to Supply Chain or Operations Management.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for Health & Safety within the department, ensuring that all the requirements of the Company's health and safety management systems / legislative requirements are met, and embed a 'Safety First' culture.
  • Lead and manage the planning, scheduling, logistics and warehousing team to ensure customer requirements are met on time and in full.
  • Provide rough cut capacity plan for next 18 months each month.
  • Lead the site Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings each month and provide internal stakeholders with visibility of sales, production & inventory plans and develop action plans to balance demand and supply.
  • Lead and participate in daily site meetings to ensure plans are on track and mitigating actions are taken to course correct.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels whilst ensuring OTIF targets are met, and SLOB stock is minimized.
  • Drive stock accuracy to 98%+ through regular cycle counting.
  • Develop KPIs to drive excellence throughout the site's supply chain performance and meets / exceeds Company objectives.
  • Liaise with various cross-functional teams on projects such as NPIs, product transfers or product discontinuations.
  • Develop a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site supply chain (internal and external) to ensure world class practices are being delivered, focusing on improvements in lead times, OTIF and customer centricity.
  • Develop and standardize supply chain procedures and protocols in areas of responsibility.
  • Play a key role in the Site Management Team to drive performance, improvement and innovation to maximise site output to support customer demands.
  • Contribute to the Global S&OP process with the effective communication of site supply chain plans.
  • Lead, coach and motivate staff within area of responsibility, ensuring that relevant operating standards are communicated and understood at all levels, training needs are identified, assessed and actioned at all levels to generate optimum efficiency and performance.
