Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, developing, promoting, measuring performance, and disciplining of leadership staff in the Corporate and Property Security and Surveillance departments.
  • Produces and monitors short and long-term department strategies accompanied with annual operating or capital budgets required to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Develops and implements staffing plans, training policies and procedures designed to enhance departmental operations and guest service standards.
  • Makes recommendations regarding departmental internal controls, risk assessment and management, and methods of monitoring compliance.
  • Maintains working knowledge of laws and regulations (and changes in such) impacting the company’s line of business and communicates this information to the appropriate parties, as required.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Leads the security organization for the company, working with company leadership, to meet department objectives.
  • Monitors all activities within the company, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, including but not limited to, OSHA and Nevada Gaming Control Board are enforced throughout the property.
