Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma/certificate in a relevant discipline i.e. Human Resources, Business
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms etc.)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Strong organization skills
  • Previous work experience in an office setting is considered an asset
  • Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Pre-onboarding of New Hires
  • Liaise with new hires to collect and ensure accuracy of personal data in a timely manner
  • Input new hire data into portal to generate employee number
  • Run necessary background checks, driver abstracts, monitor results real-time
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders: payroll, hiring managers, recruiters, I.T. service desk, etc.
  • Create Active Director requests for new hires
  • Send new hire detailed summary reporting out weekly prior to new hire start
  • Adhoc new hire pre-onboarding as requested by the business
  • Administrative Support
  • Track and complete all moves/adds/changes as requested daily ensuring 24 hour turn around
  • Respond to general employee inquiries same day
  • Create candidate contact listings for recruiter blitzes ongoing
  • Support TA manager in ongoing training of processes to the business
  • Ensure all incoming requests are recorded and tracked to completion
  • Provide back up support to other coordinators
  • Provide back up support with offer letters as needed
  • Work with various business unit coordinators to information share and track tasks through completion
