Requirements

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience in a related field with a background in business analysis and technical/systems support within travel industry, preferable
  • UK travel confirmed experience, preferred, with in-depth knowledge of travel industry reservation systems
  • Account management experience, including management of 2nd and 3rd party suppliers
  • Project management experience and experience in running technology teams
  • Shown experience within a commercial or product management role in an online travel or online retail environment
  • Experience operating within a similar role within a large, matrix organisation, preferable
  • Experience with issue-tracking tools (e.g. JIRA), preferred
  • Skills Required:
  • Technical understanding of travel reservations systems as well as project management systems i.e. JIRA
  • Strong communication at all levels both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organisation and time management with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and strategic, with strong ability to problem-solve
  • Excellent partner and relationship leadership skills, including important negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to follow through accurately from development to implementation
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Brand knowledge of Disney and product knowledge of DDI brands, beneficial
  • Cultural sensitivity

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and represent the Director's vision throughout the animation process, while presenting and guiding the animators' artistic interpretation.
  • Function as the Director's "right hand" in animation, upholding animation quality throughout the film.
  • Work with the show’s production team to accurately bid, schedule and crew work for the project.
  • Hold a long-term view over the animation process, providing perspective and ensuring story continuity.
  • Conduct reviews as final quality control on all animated elements prior to Client review.
  • Good technical understanding of those areas of CG relating to character build and movement – modeling, rigging, creature TD and FX.
  • Work with the CG Supervisor, Rigging and creature dev teams as to the technical setup of characters to be animated.
  • Act as the animation department's representative in meetings with other team leads, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Proactively provide leadership and foster communication within the animation department, working with management and other teams to meet show and department needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the animation pipeline is efficient and meets production requirements.
  • Work closely with the animation talent team to ensure the professional development of all animators. Conducting performance reviews, identifying training and mentoring needs.
  • Work closely with the feature animation recruitment team and other animation supervisors to help build a strong animation team for London Studio and crew all projects effectively.
