  • As the lab's Technical Communications Manager, you will work closely with Professor Mihaela van der Schaar and the research team to develop and implement a multi-channel communications strategy to drive visibility and engagement among several distinct target audiences.
  • Having identified opportunities to showcase the lab's research, you will create high-quality written and visual content explaining the value, novelty, and impact of the lab's world-leading research.
  • You will also plan and host sessions in the lab's two regular online engagement series: "Inspiration Exchange" (for machine learning and AI students and professionals) and "Revolutionizing Healthcare" (for practising clinicians).
  • Both series aim to create new interdisciplinary communities and share insights and ideas around machine learning for healthcare.
  • You will be given oversight over a wide range of platforms, including the lab's website, social media platforms, mailing lists, and YouTube channel.
  • You will also work to build strong and productive relationships with the lab's internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, funding partners, and clinicians.
