What are the primary functions of this Technical Development Research Associate role?
The primary functions include characterization of cell culture components, weighing and formulating of cell culture medium, conducting cell culture based assays, equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, lab management, coordinating sample submission, scheduling and tracking with external testing lab, data review and management, and troubleshooting.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A B.S (with 0-4 years relevant experience) or M.S. (with 0-2 years relevant experience) in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related fields, non-GMP laboratory experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong collaborative skills.
What are some preferred qualifications for this role?
Preferred qualifications include experience with Trace Metal impurity analysis of ICP-MS data sets, upstream bioprocess experience with Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells (CHO), and knowledge of cell biology, cell engineering, molecular biology, recombinant protein purification, and protein characterization.
