Requirements

  • 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) including a STEM subject
  • BSc Graduate (technical discipline, ideally construction related, e.g., Civil Engineering) at grade 2:1 or above
  • Strong IT skills with a focus on MS Office Suite
  • A clear communicator through all mediums
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Conceptual and analytical skills
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills and experience
  • It would be an advantage, but is not essential, if you also have:
  • Experience within the construction industry
  • Understanding of document management and control
  • A developing knowledge of construction terminology & detailing / drawing
  • Good knowledge of computer aided drafting package: CAD, ideally AutoCAD

Responsibilities

  • The Technical Graduate is a learning role spanning across the technical department with experience of working in three teams, two focused on technical support and services, and one focused mainly on development and testing, ultimately leading to a permanent role as Junior Technical Engineer in approx. 18months
  • During this training period the technical graduate gains business, technical and personal skills to succeed as a Technical Engineer with potential for a high level of career development
  • Offer technical support and offer professional judgement to internal and external customers
  • Participate in departmental and cross departmental projects
  • Manage and mitigate technical risks, advancing the development of the Etex (Siniat and Promat) brands technical offer
  • Any other suitable tasks as required by the line manager
