Requirements

  • Diploma or formal qualification in Technical Illustrating / Graphic Design / Drafting or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in Technical Illustrating Services and software's: CorelDraw / Adobe Illustrator etc.
  • Technical Illustration development from a 3D environment. The ability to obtain the correct views and explodes from a 3D environment, then develop a 2D illustration from the result.
  • Ability to understand, communicate effectively with; and influence colleagues within and outside immediate team to implement business requirements
  • Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of illustration and publishing tools

Responsibilities

  • Produce technical illustrations ensuring the product meets all requirements, including safety and regulatory requirements of the project.
  • Undertake all assigned technical illustrating activities in accordance with the identified project directives and standards
  • Develop technical documentation in accordance with appropriate standards
  • Contribute to project plans relating to illustration management, production and validation activities.
  • Utilise illustration tools effectively to undertake illustration development and verification activities.
  • Using HCFP engineering models to develop model-based illustrations.
