Responsibilities

  • Identify design and process issues and drive best design and manufacturing practices with cross-functional teams, and develop automation processes that align to teams long-term strategies.
  • Manage the mechanical/assembly side of projects from initial builds through ramp and serve as mechanical technical lead in resolving issues during bring-up and life of product.
  • Work with the Product Design team to develop manufacturing processes to meet product design, as well as partners, other cross-functional Engineering teams and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team during all phases of development and product introduction.
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage key technical changes and risks of a product, ensure all technical risks associated with a product are identified and mitigated to enable the quality ramp of a product.
