What are the primary responsibilities of the Telecommunications Implementation and Project Engineer?
The primary responsibilities include planning, executing, and overseeing technical projects to ensure completion on time, compliance with FAA rules, and adherence to scope and quality requirements. The engineer will also manage resources, risks, and achieve project objectives, perform complex tasks related to telecommunications networks, conduct site surveys and preparations, and oversee the timely submission of project forms such as EOSH, PRP, and ORMP.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and 16 years of relevant experience. A trade-off is possible with a Master’s degree and three fewer years of experience, or an Associate’s degree with two more years of experience, contingent on FAA approval. Additionally, knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling is required, and the candidate must be able to work at either the FAA Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center or the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center.

The projected salary range for this position is USD $67,050.00 - USD $104,785.00 per year, with the exact salary determined by various factors such as education, experience, and internal equity.
