What are the working hours for the Telephonist role?
The working hours for this role are Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
What kind of communication system will I be using?
You will be operating the Trust's Avaya Telephone System as well as the central communication service and its associated systems.
What skills are required for this position?
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be courteous and friendly, and be responsive to the needs of the Trust and its users.
Will I be handling emergency calls?
Yes, you will be required to handle the Trust alarm systems, including Fire Alarms, Theatre Medical Gas Alarms, Pharmacy fridge alarms, Intruder alarms, Trust Bleeps, and the Emergency phone, ensuring the correct team is sent to the appropriate location.
Is this a part-time or full-time position?
This is a part-time position, primarily covering weekend hours.
