Responsibilities

  • Builds trust and partnerships with senior business leaders, HR COE’s, HRBPs, People Services and other HRP’s in the brands/regions to ensure alignment across teams and within the business to help support and execute key business priorities.
  • Advise on workforce planning strategies with your leaders including org design and restructurings, job descriptions development, and compensation planning.
  • Monitor workforce analytics/trends, diagnose root cause or issues, and help identify performance gaps within teams.
  • Lead client groups in all annual people processes such as annual compensation planning, talent reviews, succession planning, culture surveys, and performance, while incorporating their people strategy into department strategies.
  • Lead client group/department-specific projects, boards, cost saving initiatives, and reinventing programs from an HR lens.
  • Challenge and guide leaders to have an impact in their culture, engagement, individual teams, and department impacts.
  • Leverage talent discussions and succession plan programs and partner with Business Leaders to develop high potential employees.
  • Partner with TA to secure external pipelines for department critical roles, and ensure a talent plan is in place.
  • Advise leadership on VF Standard Operating Procedures to ensure fair and equitable application for all VF associates.
  • Partner with employment counsel as well as labor and employee relations to advise management regarding employment policies and practices to ensure actions are compliant with legal requirements in each state.
  • Partner with local HR to do the same globally.
  • Actively engage in the recruitment process to help identify top talent and assist in filling gaps in competencies that are needed to better fulfill role responsibilities.
  • Partner with HRBP’s in the other regions to share and align on global talent within the function.
