Requirements

  • Verbal and Written English to NMC required level
  • English and Maths qualification equivalent to GCSE grade C or above
  • Communication and relationship building
  • Analytical and Judgement skills
  • Planning and Organisation – particularly in relation to planning study and worktime around personal life

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality person-centred care in line with personal care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Perform and record clinical observations such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature blood sugar monitoring, oxygen stats and recognise any abnormalities which must then be reported to a registered nurse
  • Share information with registered nurses on any changes in health, behaviour, mood etc of a resident
  • Accurately record repositioning chart, nutritional and fluid intake papers
