A consultant is present on the shop floor between 8am to Midnight, 7 days a week at Ealing Hospital, and from 8am to Midnight Tuesday - Thursday, with 24-hour cover from Friday to Monday at Northwick Park Hospital.
What is the role of the middle grade doctor outside of normal working hours?
One of the middle grade doctors is designated to undertake the ‘lead role’ outside of normal working hours and works closely with the nurse co-ordinator to ensure the department runs efficiently.
What kinds of patients will the successful candidate be working with in the Emergency Department?
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of patient care in the Emergency Department, including the management of patients and participating in the care of patients in the Clinical Decision Unit.
