Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care in the community without direct supervision.
  • To deputise for senior TB nurse in their absence
  • Contact tracing for all TB cases
  • To work with senior TB nurse to help improve the TB services.
  • Improving knowledge within communities in the local area most affected by TB
  • Supervising directly observed therapy when required
