Responsibilities

  • The UK University Recruiting Lead is primarily responsible for creating, innovating, and leading recruitment and relationship efforts for specific universities and colleges.
  • In coordination with the Global University and Entry Level Recruiting leadership team, the role will lead and develop an annual recruiting plan, in partnership with UK business leaders.
  • This role must represent Boeing effectively when virtual / or on campus.
  • Integrator and project management of events. Partner with business leaders and hiring managers, human resource partners and others to understand the business needs and associated demand.
  • Present the university relations strategy to key stakeholders, universities, and other parties to ensure understanding of the future entry level talent needs at Boeing.
  • Help with sourcing and recruiting of candidates.
  • Programme management and leading of various projects / initiatives (both on the University Recruiting team, as well as overall Global Talent Acquisition).
  • Leverage internal and external data analysis, trends, and benchmarking insights to inform and modernisation of enterprise hiring plans.
  • Develop strong relationships with university career services, faculty, student organizations and diversity offices, and other groups identified as relevant to recruiting.
  • Have an awareness and understanding of the organisation’s diversity values.
  • Train members representing Boeing at Careers Fairs.
  • Participate in formal university recruitment events, as available, and ensure that there are adequate team members assigned for all events.
  • Should serve as the company point of contact for student university ambassadors and engagements with ambassadors.
  • Identify and recommend campus specific marketing opportunities to the Boeing Recruitment and Advertising focal/ manager and Global University and Entry Level Recruiting leadership team.
  • Develop and execute early identification programs, where possible, and continue to develop relationships with targeted candidates.
  • Advise hiring leaders on hiring best practices, compliance and policy.
  • Conduct intake meetings for Apprentice, Intern and Graduate requirements, partnering with the managers to understand the business and determine the best TA solution.
  • Promote social media content across all available channels.
  • Own the candidate experience, maintain engagement throughout the hiring process and beyond.
  • Support managers to assess and select candidates for each role.
  • Manage Engagement/Assessment Days.
  • Lead the offer process, engaging with all parties to deliver operational excellence.
  • Flexible working to engage with global stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Lead the UK Internship Programme- Responsible for defining, designing and coordinating the full life cycle of the Intern journey.
