  • Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in general business or liberal arts, with a strong academic record
  • Project management, teaming, organizational, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and/or SharePoint) and willingness to learn firm and client-specific technologies
  • Experience analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature
  • Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the EY Comply team, you will support our financial services clients dedicated to the wealth and asset management, bank and capital markets, and insurance firms. You will play a key role in defining how hedge fund and mutual fund advisors meet regulatory, tax, and financial statement reporting.
  • As part of the Financial Services Organization (FSO) Assurance practice, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative team where you’ll quickly learn on-the-job skills to achieve your career ambitions while helping us develop new and exciting opportunities within the business. You’ll participate in project teams of all sizes, assessing or collecting customer information or reviewing transactions to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity. This could also include researching and evaluating the suspicious activity you previously identified. You’ll also need to effectively document the results of your analysis.
  • As part of the FSO Credit Services practice, you’ll support The Credit Risk practice which provides services to Credit Risk Management functions, primarily performing credit reviews for commercial and consumer credit exposures within the financial services industry. The Associate Analyst will primarily be responsible for performing high quality loan reviews in line with expectations.
  • As part of the FSO Finance practice, you’ll support Finance engagements in our Service Delivery Center, consisting of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our financial services clients. You’ll provide written and verbal data analysis, outcome of assessments, and procedural advice regarding client processes, administration, and information.
  • As an Associate Analyst in our Government & Public Sector (GPS) practice, you'll work with US-based teams who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our federal clients. You'll provide written and verbal data analysis, outcome assessments, and procedural advice regarding client processes, administration, and information. You'll help our federal, state, local and education clients implement new ideas to help achieve their mission outcomes.
  • As part of the Project Management team, you'll spend your day to day supporting management of projects including milestones, resources, finances, leveraging the designated project methodology & tools, and ensuring appropriate level of status communication. You will assist with initiation, creation, and development of project scope and schedule and responsible for delivery of project specific tasks as needed. In return, you will learn effective organization and time management skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
  • As part of the Quality Assurance Testing team, you'll spend your time as part of an entrepreneurial team, looking to validate changes to client technology platforms to support the new capabilities that clients are trying to take to market. This means we'll need you to interpret descriptions, understand each project's nuances, then write test scripts, design tests and execute tests, and thoroughly report on the results. On top of this, you'll need to be ready to interact with team members and build positive client relationships across multiple levels. In return, you'll learn effective organization and time management skills.
  • As part of the Regulatory Compliance team, you will be part of a team consisting of high-performing US-based employees who work closely with our Consulting professionals to deliver work to our Financial Services clients. Here, you'll be involved in project teams of all sizes, assessing or collecting customer information, reviewing transactions to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity, validating regulatory adherence, and addressing regulatory needs. There are opportunities to learn quickly and deliver high-quality services to our clients.   • Our Risk practice helps organizations embrace risks with trust and confidence, enhance their risk functions and harness risk intelligence to generate fresh value through aggressive innovation that gives them a competitive advantage.   • Within our FSO, the Structured Finance Advisory Services (SFAS) team provides services to investment banks and finance issuers, supporting the entire securitization cycle across transaction, advisory, and valuation matters related to all types of assets. Our dedicated team of SFAS professionals primarily supports our clients by helping them prepare important transaction materials for investors efficiently and without errors. You'll use your eye for detail to catch mistakes in important transaction documents to reduce risk for our clients.
  • As part of the Tax Support team, you will support our financial services clients dedicated to the wealth and asset management, bank and capital markets, and insurance firms. Your work will include supporting the tax engagement teams to deliver quality-assured tax related deliverables. Your work could include interacting with team members in our Global Delivery Center analyzing data, and communication with external clients.
  • As part of the Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) Business Transformation team, you will support a broad range of integrated services to financial institutions and other capital market participants. Within the FSO, our Wealth and Asset Management Service Delivery team will be dedicated to serving investment managers, retail brokers and banks, wealth management firms, retirement specialist, and trust organizations. In this position, you will assist our engagement teams with product delivery and supporting a client’s operational business process.
