What is the duration of the Venture Leader position?
The position is a Full-time Fixed Term role for approximately 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on the length of grant funding.
What are the working hours for this position?
The position normally works Monday to Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., totaling 35 hours per week. However, extended or alternative hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on the needs of CDL-Rockies.
Who will the Venture Leader report to?
This position reports to one of two stream managers, who fall under the Director of Ventures.
What qualifications are required for the Venture Leader role?
A Master’s degree in business administration or a related specialization, along with 7+ years of progressive experience in startups or early-stage technology companies, is required.

Yes, experience in an industry sector related to the identified CDL Rockies streams (prime science, energy, food) is required.
