Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a video editor in a similar role, with a portfolio of work across social media, with a particular focus on TikTok
  • Strong understanding of storytelling and structure for impacting social video
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms - across video specifications as well as trending formats and behaviours
  • Proficient in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with Capcut experience a useful addition
  • Excellent understanding of graphics, visual effects, and music licensing
  • Excellent understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting standards
  • Creatively ambitious, with the ability to experiment and innovate to enhance existing video assets
  • Able to understand and work across a variety of visual languages
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills including file management
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, and be able to forecast resource allocation across varying projects
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, can clearly communicate ideas and concepts to internal teams as well as external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for numerous video editing tasks across all of our video output for clients on social across all social media platforms, with a specific focus on TikTok
  • Taking reference assets (brand or creator) and turning them into a high volume of performance focus assets for paid media performance
  • Creating marketing assets including sizzle reels, case studies and sales collateral
  • Build and manage processes, workflows and SLA’s, both internally and with 3rd parties
  • Capacity tracking across the studio, forecasting resource allocation and capacity to take on new projects
