Requirements

  • Tenure: 10+ years of experience in Ecommerce and Social Channel management, creative direction and execution with a proven track record of success in a luxury jewelry or high-end fashion or beauty brand.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, Ecommerce and UX design, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and industry best practices.
  • Creative vision and ability to think outside the box, with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, Ms Office, Frame.io and other relevant design software/tools.
  • Proven track record of developing and running successful social and Ecommerce channels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Conceptualization, Execution:
  • Develop and implement a cohesive digital strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Leads and supervises the creative team in the conceptualization and execution of digital design direction for E-comm., Digital Advertising, and Social Media creative channels.
  • Site: DavidYurman.com, wholesale accounts and digital advertising in close partnership with Ecommerce Marketing team and Sr. Creative Director.
  • Social: organic handles (2) and paid advertising assets (note: develop content ideas and creative strategy for all social media channels in partnership with Social Media Marketing team and Sr. Creative Director.
  • Focus on delivering:
  • Seasonal Campaigns
  • High Traffic Moment Campaigns (e.g., Mother’s Day, Holiday etc.)
  • Refreshes (e.g., always on programming, site experiencers/enhancements)
  • Site:
  • Lead and direct seasonal, HTM, refresh updates (detailed above) with site concept to wireframe/UX, design and layout, including appropriate distribution channels and platforms. Create intuitive and engaging design that follows best in class UX/UI and practices to execute a world-class multi-channel experience that delivers on key KPI’s.
  • Digital Advertising:
  • In collaboration with Media team, oversee digital creative concepts, layouts and design to maximize media placement and brand awareness and ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • In collaboration with Social Marketing team, oversee social creative concepts, layouts and design to maximize social engagement, following and brand awareness.
  • In partnership with the Senior Creative Director; concept and Art Direct relevant digital shoots for site, social an digital advertising
  • Partner with Content Studio to optimize e-commerce guidelines and PDP enhancements.
  • Oversee projects from concept development through delivery in collaboration with e-commerce, merchandising, marketing and copy departments to ensure cohesive 360 seasonal execution whilst maintaining creative integrity.
  • Partner with the offline creative team under the leadership of the Senior Creative Director to ensure cohesive seasonal narratives and expression across all creative touch points of the brand.
  • Management & Communication:
  • Managing digital design team daily workflows and partner with Project Managers to ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Employ resourceful, creative thinking and an ability to anticipate business needs with the expectation to work 6+ months in advance of site deployment.
  • Trend Identification:
  • Identify gaps in current programming and initiatives and offer recommendations on new content.
  • Technology and Tools Management:
  • Remain current on competitor activity and emerging trends in digital advertising, branded entertainment and technology, to bring consistently fresh thinking and “state of the art” innovations.
  • Brand Creativity:
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all touch points, maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
  • Manage and mentor the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
